National TB Elimination Program (NTEP)
Under National Tuberculosis Elimination programme NTEP (RNTCP), Fatehabadd successfully rolled out daily regimen for all TB patients since 27.10.2017 and providing free TB Diagnostic and treatment facilities in
all the Govt. hospitals & Govt. Medical Colleges of Haryana.
- All district TB officials and medical college representatives trained in revised Programmatic Management of Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (PMDT) guidelines of 2019 and all Oral Longer regimen has also been launched in Haryana on 23-2-2020.
- With CBNAAT machines, Fatehabad has also been able to roll out free universal drug susceptibility testing for all TB patients from 1st Feb 2018.
- RNTCP Haryana has also good collaboration with state AIDS control society, NUHM and NCD program for free Diabetes and HIV screening of all TB patients
- For better treatment out-come of all TB patients. Four Schemes (Nikshay Poshan Yojana being given to eligible TB patient’s w.e.f. April 2018, Treatment Supporter Honorarium, Incentive for Private Provider & Informant incentive) under Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT).
